Montel Williams Medical Marijuana Show

From 2004 and still relevant, here's Montel Williams highly compelling show on medical marijuana. It's a topic very close to his heart because Montel, himself, has a serious medical condition, multiple sclerosis, that he found responds well to marijuana. This show features interviews with medical users, such as Irvin Rosenfeld and their testimonials. The first guest, Angel McClary Raigh, lost her U. S. Supreme Court case in 2005. Some other featured guests include Rob Kampia, executive director of the Marijuana Policy Project, and Andrea Barthwell, MD, former White House Office of National Drug Control Policy, who discusses why the federal government still maintains that medical marijuana should be illegal (whitehousedrugpolicy.gov). Montel's personal testimony on medical marijuana can be found here.

Will Foster "I am going to be an activist. It is up to us to change these laws. And it is going to take money, because if we don't put in the money we aren't going to win. That is the bottom line.

My medical use of marijuana never interfered with my work; I ran a successful business. I told my conservative doctor what I was doing; he did not really agree with it because of the health risk of smoking, but he witnessed my positive results. I was minding my own business taking care of my health and my family. What was I doing to anybody that got me 93 years?" By former Oklahoman Will Foster after his release from prison. He was convicted of cultivating marijuana, used for his own medical purposes.

"A small group of thoughtful people could change the world. Indeed, it's the only thing that ever has." Margaret Mead
